Infrared Automatic Swing Door is an automated system that assists and makes using the door more efficient and convenient. It opens or helps open the door automatically, waits and then closes it.
There are three types of swing door:
• Full energy swing door – Opens and closes the swinging door in full speed. These types are typically used in medium sized business stores.
• Low energy swing door – Opens and close at reduced speed and the kinetic energy is limited of the door that is moving to a safe level especially for disabled persons. Typically found in a simple door closers adequate for users.
• Power assist swing door – This is another b\version of low-energy type. Instead of opening the door, it enables the user to do the opening manually at a decreased force.

Sensors that belongs to the class or group, that shows the subject scheme defect are mounted on the swinging panel of the door and then convey near-infrared lighting normally at a highest wavelength of 880 to 950 nm, and unseen to the naked eye into the space directly with sensors and, then, the doors. Process is established upon recognition of infrared lighting reflected into the sensors from the object that comes within the range. From object that enters the space lightened by the sensors.
When adequate infrared lighting is redirected back into the sensors, a recognition signal is produced by the sensors. That is when sensor directs a signal to the electronic control of the door, frequently located in the headed of the door, signifying that objects has been sensed. The door electronic control answers to the recognition signal by properly directing process of the doors. Example, if sensors are on the moving towards side of the panel of the infrared automatic swinging door, the electronic control might send the command that is appropriate to the door to open. If at the reverse side, the electronic control might generate the motion of the swinging door to be stopped so as to avoid the sensed objects, usually a person, being hit as it opens.
Advantages of infrared automatic swinging door – Such sensors provide certain advantages over the rest of the rival detection systems. They are located physically on the panel of the swinging door so they essentially travel with the doors when it closes and opens. Because independent sensor can be attached on both sides (back and front) of the panel of the door, it is likely to differentiate object sensed behind the doors from the ones sensed in front during the whole movement of the doors. Other detection systems are unable to perform this distinction, meaning, it is difficult to say, for instance, if it is harmless to continue to open the doors in reaction to a forthcoming person, or if the movement of the doors should be stopped because of a person standing at the back of the door when it opens. Controls and other accessories which are located under the panel of the swinging door are examples of a detection process that is unable to identify, at any point in the series of movement of the door.
