Here is an introduction to two common locks on the market, namely magnetic locks and electric mortise locks.

Magnetic lock:

According to whether the magnetic lock is specially designed for the automatic induction door, it is divided into two types: dedicated and non-dedicated. The difference is that the non-dedicated one is stuck by the lock (tongue), while the dedicated one is to attract the door body by generating magnetic force. The magnetic lock can hold the door very tightly, there is no gap, and it can prevent the door from sliding to cause failure, but if the bearing capacity of the magnetic lock is exceeded, it may be pulled apart. In addition, if you are using an automatic door machine with its own magnetic lock, you can directly use the remote control to lock it.

The access control system that controls the power of the magnetic lock will cut off the power when the person is correct, and the magnetic lock can open the door when it loses its suction.

Electric lock:

Generally, electric locks can be divided into dedicated and non-dedicated. The special electric bolt lock sends a signal to the electric lock through a sensor or an access control machine. After the electric lock receives the signal, it first unlocks and then sends the signal to the automatic door to open the door. Because the lock is unlocked first, and then the lock control unit sends a signal to the door machine controller to open the door, so the phenomenon of bumping caused by the door being opened but the lock has not been opened is avoided. The special electric bolt lock is an electric lock designed for the characteristics of automatic doors.

Non-dedicated electric mortise locks are ordinary electric control locks, because there is no delay in outputting the door opening signal, only the door sensor can send the door opening and unlocking signals at the same time. The door will open faster than the lock, which will cause the automatic door to malfunction.
